It's a big stretch. It's one example of "Empire Equity" brokering a deal with La jolla. It doesn't produce a pattern.
In KAB case "Empire" brokered a deal with "Noble Group". Their is no link between "La Jolla and Noble" and no history of "empire" using "la jolla" on more than one ocassion.
In you example "Empire" was excluded from voting because they had their own convertible note. Yes they also introduced La Jolla. But it's insignificant.
Let's wait and see. First step is going from a term sheet to actual funding deal.
