"i cant see the Chinese stopping and worrying about the sp all they care about is supply of product and will keep expanding regardless of cash flow and with the current low metal prices push the company into more and more debt."

This is no at all accurate,
    1. Regulators do not just allow foreign companies to buy into Australian companies and intentionally rip off shareholders.
    2. They are not buying into PEM to ensure supply of minerals, that would be a false economy for them, they are buing in because they want to make a profit.

Owning a majority stake in a company is not a license to do whatever you want to, there are many aspects of the corporations act to prevent majority holders from disadvanaging smaller holders.

I doubt very much that there will be another capital raising,
If there is it there is no way it would be big enough to justify the share price getting this low.
If you look at the CR to purchase CDM it was actually beneficial for smaller holders (who are holding on for the long term) because it was such a bargain purchase,
This is a typical mr market over reaction trying to 'time the market' by predicting and over-compensating for potential announcements.
Perilya is making BIG money, not only this but it is going to be making BIGGER money over the next few years.
People are selling because they are afraid of things that may or may not happen,
In any case the effect we may actually see the things hodlers are fearing to be beneficial to the company over the long term, as the management are paid to do.
Selling a company when it is on a p/e of <4 and in a healthy financial position with solid long term earnings because you are afraid there might be a CR to fund growth is just plain silly.
