The worst part of it is that "real" people try to rationalise the trading, oh the price is going down because people are fretting about the economy, or we've only got 6 months to sort out funding, or money is so tight that noone will offer debt...

The reality is that a friggin computer program, which has no conception of reality, is dictating where the market goes. I can imagine now that just because the share price slid half a cent more, some holders will have exceeded their loss limits and will be forced out during tomorrow. And no doubt, another moviedancer will join the discussion tomorrow telling everybody that the future doesn't look good.
