phoohy...retail spending is down, because people are saving their money, they have no confidence in the current govnut... it will change overnight at the next election...even leading up to it...
only a tiny population that lives in the inner city, paying the sky high prices and high rents are suffering...
over 60,000 people moving happily into the cheaper outer suburbs of Melb each year...a trend for the past 10 years
they have low interest rates, low rents...so thats not the problem
they have no confidence in the current political party in office
there is some confidence in property land coming out now... those people can see the future...
the end result, is the opposite to what the doomsdayers have been screaming and shouting about on here...since 2007 wow 5 years went fast...
