Blooreler, Rottweilers are not in the same catagory as Bull mastiffs. With the right owners, training and control they are gentle giants, probably like yours is, I nervously inherited a German shephard many years ago, what a softy, I was proven so wrong. Amazing animal, like a cat, if that makes sense.
My 16 year old staffy passed away last year, it sometimes made people nervouse just because it was confused as pitbull. I get it, and respect it, I also have 2 kids under 5 so more than ever i am aware. But mastiffs through no fault of their own are not a dog for Australia. Looking at the stats of serious dog attacks they far outway any other dog. If a product is faulty it is recalled and banned, and these dogs have been bred to be a product, not a pet.
