Hi Skol and all,

The talk of poverty and how we decide if one is truly poor by whatever standards implied could be argued at length.

Certainly I am enjoying a better life style than my parents as I am sure most here of a similar vintage (1953) are, and I would say that over history most generations have enjoyed a higher standard of living than their forebears. However; I feel we are now at a point in history were the next generation and maybe future ones will not attain the same standard of living that I / we have enjoyed, others may argue otherwise but I feel this is a very real possibility and I see that as true regression!

Skol thinking of your nephew maybe at last we can agree on something? I won’t hold my breath.
