    Interesting. Good explanation, thanks Hotfire. Some other posters call you hottie but I can't do that unless it turns you are female and actually hot!? I would accept photographic evidence.

    So, if enough investors look for "gaps" as part of their decision making process this itself can "cause" a share price reaction. I can accept that. And thanks for pointing out when the next gaps occur. When the share price hits $1.14 and $1.56, I might just let a few go. I will certainly remember those numbers.

    I wouldn't mind making a new point. If Springsure Creek can't get funding for a fairly low cash cost good quality thermal export product out of the Bowen Basin, think about how many lesser assets wont get developed, and think of how many existing mines will be closed down. Is demand destruction likely to be so great? I think fat chance. We will see a shake out of some of the weaker mines and less economic deposits, which will just increase the inevitable cyclical rebound in coal price which may start as soon as September.

    BRING ON THE GAPS!!!
