Australia's mining corporations have signed land use, joint venture and contracting deals worth billions of dollars with indigenous businesses during the Pilbara iron ore boom. Rio Tinto has agreed to Aboriginal joint ventures and direct contracts worth $A1bn since 2010. Fortescue Metals Group has awarded contracts and subcontracts totalling $A591m to more than 50 indigenous operators in Western Australia..... Can't wait to see the indigenous involvement in Victoria and what partnerships it involves... Imfa??
