Zarbros one scenario you may need to consider is movement within trustee or SMSF sub-accounts, or custodial, or depositary holdings within nominee accounts. Now most often they would show as a cross trade {TX}, but not necessarily so. Also but some SMSF trades are better done on market to avoid "wash" classification, as SMSFs are particularly scrutinised by ATO. These types of trades wont show as movements on the registry, unless the snapshot is obtained mid-trade.
However IMHO there is someone liquidating their position, but that is their choice and would be less likely to have maintained their position LT in any case. I'd rather see them exit at this base than on an incline thus hindering a good rise on news event.
Yesterday some stops look to have been triggered as well.
