jeffl, it is conveniently ignored here on how much of the increase is state government increases and how much is Carbon tax?

As in the link I posted previously for example, NSW electricity prices will increase by an average of 18%, but only around 9% of that is Carbon Tax.

So if you look at all of the equation, it still works as it did in school.
