top 40

For my own information I have acquired a few TOP 40 reports over the last couple of months and can advise as follows:

Movements from start of August 12 and start of June 12.

CitCorp Top shareholder down 4.5m
Perpetual down 2.7m
HSBC down 6.2m (was no 2 holder now 8)

Bergen were issued 15m shares on note conversions now hold 6.3m so they have decreased approx 9m.

Socius still hold? Substantial holder notice due?

TOP 40 now hold 25.39%
Top 10 13.9%

To be in the top 40 you only need to hold 1m shares , top 20 2m shares.

Top holder (Nominee) holds 9m or 2.1%

Register full of mums and dad's.

Also does Masawa ( old BEE partner ) who was issued nearly 10m shares as part of the BEE settlement still hold? Not sure as there is no holding of this size but could be spread across accounts.

No wonder share price has been hammered.
