Yes, it seems like some of the statements in this article are simply wrong, so how much credibiility can we really give it?
Further, my understanding is that we have 10 months to either commercialise the residue or have PDF approved, plus the only items currently requiring approval for Lynas to have met it's requirements in regards to TOL issue, is (1) the submission of a plan to immobilise radioactive elements in it's waste, and (2) an emergency response plan on dust control.
