I was in reece yesterday and asked about the gases.
404a has gone from $28 per kilo to $105
410a(the gas used in most splits) basically doubled $30 to $60.
I enquired why they had increased so much and the salesman said "the carbon tax"
When i pressed him he admitted he didn't know the real reason.
