Jon - maybe its your turn to call the company and find out whats going on - and none of that 'we are as surprised as you are at the stock price' - comments like that don't cut it and if nothing else indicate a complete disconnect with the market and holders. The price and dumping is a shambles and the company silence reinforcing that. I'm not calling since have done so a few times and during that time despite reassurances the share price has halved again. After a year I'm still waiting for a half decent comment back from Starr on anything - usually someone else comments an his name is on next to useless announcements that either regurgitate or have to do with his kennai connections. As far as I am concerned he should step aside and let some new blood in - we want results not continual promises and talk of potential. Getting pretty annoyed at this lot the more time drags on - buying shares isn't a charity event and given the money was hard to come by to start with, I'd expect better professionalism and management that stepped up to the plate. If I performed as badly on the job I would have been out a long time ago - I don't give a rats as to whatever legal protections and all the rubbish ASIC rules may be in place - its really quite simple - they should do their job which is to protect the holders and their investments - this hasn't happened in the past year and as far as I see it, corporate missions like posted are just part of the listing rules which means they have to have one and to hell with the intent. Just because they have a mission means little - heck Australia is full of laws and rules - yet why are there so many criminals and court cases - simply because a minority (we hope) don't abide by them. And if a board doesnt abide by its missions and other governance documentation, the chance of forcing the issue is practically zero - ASIC would stick the paperwork to the bottom of the heap and the board as with what we've seen in the USA as far as shareholder votes go, would be free to ignore them. Next agm would like to see no increase in salaries, a freeze on directors fees and no bonuses of any form paid out - how hard is that - I would expect nothing less from a professional board and if I were in the same position would certainly suggest that if for no other reason than pride in my company and embarrassment at the results. Have a nice Tuesday all.
