irrelevant, it didnt achieve a parliamentary majority. The present deadlock in parliament resolved only by one or more of the independents is a joke.

Ask Oakshotts or Windsor's electorate how they will vote next time - I doubt if we will see another parliament like this in our lifetime.

All this crap has achieved is the most bitter and partisan politics we have seen since the disastrous Whitlam era.

Labor should have learnt its lesson from that debacle and stuck to its knitting.

Bedding down with the greens was never going to work.

I actually agree with a lot of Labors policies which help ordinary Australians. Its the social meddling and the presumption that anyone who is slightly affluent needing to be penalized continually that irritates the stuffing out of me.

The Greens are anti-business, and anti-growth. This is inconsistent with Australia wanting to continue its standard of living into the next decade. My feeling is that ordinary Australians have looked deep into the eye of the Greens and found their ideals to be different to what the average voter wants. I think they will be annihilated in the next election which would make me exceedingly happy.

Labor should be focusing on their true enemies - they have been losing votes to the watermelons for years.
