Misty, you are missing the fact that the coalition won one more seat than labor and had a primary vote higher than labor.
The people did not vote Gillard in - she pork barrelled two independents who came from apparent conservative electorates.
Gillard did not win the last election - she heads a minority government and yet controls both houses due to the greens.
But then, you know all that but choose to make silly comments about not respecting democracy when it seems that you are the one out of touch with the real meaning and spirit of democracy.
