10. Instead of mineral liberation analysis developing the metallurgy stepwise by trial and error methods using external engineering companies and spending hundreds of dollars in expensive pilot and demonstration arrangements
When asking for the mineral liberation analysis (many times different specialists) I never got a satisfactory answer if any. This had been the most disappointing point when trying to communicate and to help; management seemed just ignorant and very resistant to any advice. Still there are more than 1 million tons of REE in the ground, hopefully Australia's government and banks understands the value of it and the chance in developing a new industry branch for the country.
