Mike, don't know about other states but since the Libs took over in WA 3 years ago electricity prices have gone up 64% & another 9% recently of which about 2.9% was due to the carbon tax.

Considering that we the tax payers own the power company I see no reason why we should not get our electricty at cheaper prices than industry, after all we probaly only use a fraction of what industry does.
