Imho, it is you that is showing the desperation, and that you are being quite unfair. And I am glad they are not pretending to be leaders in the likes of Maari, the more passive role is fine, and suits them well - at least at this stage.
It is an OMV presentation, which imho is more author active than if it was a CUE presentation in which case your cynical view may have had some credence.
As such the timiNg is entirely OMVs, and there is no way OMV are presenting in NZ out of desperation either. The material is worth showing to CUEs investors. Usually they are criticized here for not being communicative enough, are they now to be crucified both ways?
I find the material reassuring, except that they show Whio as rather small and partly within the Maari permit. I am not going to read too much into that atm though.
A full 12 months of drilling just over a year away - that has to be good for us.
