Piyush, respectfully I think you've got this one wrong. They need the funds now in case the ramp-up doesn't go as planned - they don't want to be caught trying to raise funds if there are known ramp-up issues, as the SP would already be falling.
Most companies I've owned that are moving to production have similarly raised funds.
