If they don't, the new low cost Pilbara will nail them (us) all. This surely has to be a strategic play at the highest levels for the future of demand/supply. This is very low cost opex. I wonder what will happen to our own miners if China gets a hold of the lowest cost, highest grade IO production area in the world. The ramifications are more than meets the eye here and I think the big players know it. There is a defensive strategic element to this.
