Looks like its just hit New York. CDC cases should jump now states can report without CDC confirmation. Google trends should pick this up if it becomes widespread.

H3n2 was the virus which causes the hong kong flu killing over a million people. So if this is a confirmed pandemic, I would expect it to be treated as seriously as the 2009 h1n1 pandemic. Note that stockpiles of antivirals are expiring, which along with a new pandemic could spur massive orders for antivirals.
