TOULOUSE, France - As of March 31, 2012, the order backlog for Airbus totaled 4,396. Unfilled orders broken down by aircraft type were as follows: four for the A318, 190 for the A319, 2,715 for the A320, 420 for the A321, 328 for the A330, two for the A340, 555 for the A350, and 182 for the A380.
The overall backlog at the end of March 2012 represents a decrease compared to the backlog at the end of February 2012, which had totaled 4,444. Both figures are increases compared to the company's year-end 2011 order backlog of 4,437.
