As far as NWE A-2 results by Sep 1 - we should go close - barring mishaps either at A-2 or Senecio. All indications are positive so far, so should be a good outcome - just depends how good and how the markets grasp the idea and respond. For the short term, NWE should therefore be OK.
Whatever happens in Europe will go way beyond Sep 2012, IMO, and seems out of anyone's control at present. This will be a long term problem for all, no matter what 'they' can come up with - who will be prepared to write of the huge debts we are looking at?
Whether this overseas situation constrains the WA demand for gas for the mid to longer term, remains to be seen.
