    DV,

The reason i don't want to comment on Germany and EZ has nothing to do with Greece. The media attention is on Germany's Constitutional Court and its interim ruling on the permanent bailout fund, the ESM.

However - there is an other issue that almost escaped the media - the role of the European Court of Justice in deciding the on the challenges against the ESM.

The German press and the court is aware of the complexity of the legal situation, quote:

A spokeswoman for the Constitutional Court said that a preliminary ruling Sept. 12 will take place to decide whether the legislation is compatible with Germany’s constitution, despite this new complaint.

“We are dealing with a provisional order, which means, this is a preliminary ruling until the main decision will take place later on,” the spokeswoman said.

No date has been set for the final decision. A decision by the European Court might have an impact on that final decision, but this is still open to legal consideration, the spokeswoman said.

I don't want to preempt the court decision - not in a such legally complex case. Happy to let others speculate about it.
