Well that was the 6 months before!

It seems quite clear in my view that the Government was pushing energex to make as much profit as possible so they could strip it to top up the State budget.

The CEO was doing as he was told. Problem was that some of this profit was at the expense of the network which started to fail more frequently.

The Government knew what it was doing but as the system started to unravel they needed a fall guy.
The CEO who committed suicide obviously knew what he was in for and we know now how he chose to deal with it.
