I think it would be foolish to discount the relevance of another large scale find in the area. Most of the discoveries in the area have been made fairly close to faults or directly on top of them.

Thor's Dundas project sits in a very favourable position to take advantage of the trend. Tenement E63/1102 actually straddles the fault and at its eastern end shares the same geology as SIR's tenements.

SIR Tenements

As you can see in the picture below Thor's Dundas tenements are sitting along the fault of the gold and nickel corridors. The large majority in the gold corridor.

It is also worth noting the similarities of geochemical sampling with other gold finds in the area including the prolific +5 million Oz Tropicana deposit.

Thor's geochemical sampling has come up with some very similar results, in many cases with even higher gold levels.

One month ago nobody knew what was under the ground in SIR's tenements, now one month later their share price has gone from 5 cents to a high of $1.49 on Friday.
SIR's discovery along with the many others in the area should be enough to get anybody excited about having untested ground in the area.


Also, did anyone notice that Thor have hired an extra geologist based in Adelaide "to assist the Senior Geologist in the implementation of a range of exploration programs across the project portfolio."
