the fisical welfare needs to be balanced with the economy's walfare, no piont having money in the bank while the economy sufferes

Yes that was a back flip but given the hung parliment pre election commitments just don't stand up if your need the support of others.

Simular to question one, you need to understand the multiplier effect in economics & apreciate it's better to spend money to keep people employed, paying taxes & spending that have people on the dole not paying taxes or spending
- dismantle a system installed by the previous Federal Government which stopped thousands of 'illegals' pushing and shoving their way into Australia with the sole aim of receiving endless,bountiful welfare, courtesy of the Aussie taxpayer.And truly believe that such a policy would not encourage thousands of other welfare seeking'illegals' to barge their way into OZ
