First time posting here. I am another mug but agree that we shouldn't be too hard on ourselves. The prospects were good and underwritten by producing assets. Whether Range can be successful despite PL is the question for me.
However I also agree that with respect to Punty PL is only a puppet. The original consort make up is interesting but more interesting is that when the deal was signed a few Puntland Officials were appointed to the consort board. So the recent issue of about 45million RRS shares to consort, as final payment, presumably are in the hands of some Puntland nationals. I found it difficult to understand PL releasing these shares so quickly, although it confirms S1 is a complete Hydrocarbon well. I now think it was to get all the ticks in the boxes for the satisfaction of the PSA and we may have to wait sometime before any real value comes out of Puntland.
The $2m loan to CC mind you makes my blood boil. We are not a bank, loan shark maybe.
