Cmon, to jump on to your comment I agree with you the net income to Samson on 1000 bopd would be closer to the $15M mark. Of course we can only approximate because it depends on where the oil comes from (the royalties and taxes in each play/state being different), but assuming a realised bakken price of around $85/bbl (as per quarterly report), I go on a net income to SSN after royalties, taxes, LOE, etc, of about $45/bbl. If we are talking net bopd for every calendar day then thats 365 x $45,000 = $16.4M. If we are talking about bopd per operational day then assuming an 80% uptime its more like (292 days x $45,000/day =) $12M.

I think what doc is talking about is revenue, before costs/deductibles.
