It is not relevant whether or not China has a good supply of Rare Earths,what is relevant is the rest of the World has a sufficient supply of Rare Earths from outside of China.China could shut down the supply of Rare Earths any time they wanted too.China uses it's supply of Rare Earths as a leverage to persuade manufacturers to manufacture in China to ensure them supply of Rare Earths . Australia may one day attract manufacturing for the same reason.
