This is easy money for the big guys when you consider the sales they make a quarter...
Rockwood made $900+ million in sales in just the last quarter. wow.
Once Galaxy is cashflow positive, I just don't see us lasting in this market to be perfectly frank. The question begs-Why would anyone let a competitor come in and take a marketshare, when they could easily scoop them up after they've done the hard work of getting rid of debt.
I guess Lithium management was right when they said, the merger is in the best interest for both companies because it will attract global attention as a 500+market cap company.
At this point it's not a question of 'if', but 'when' and by whom.
When I spoke to FMC before the merger, they WERE interested in expanding their lithium production by 17,000. Interesting how that's exactly how much Galaxy is expected to be putting out.
Ah well, happy smiles all around. We won't be sitting at 40-50 cents for too much longer.
