my young nephew, age 25 called in yesterday....earns $3000 pw net after tax....all his food and accommodation is provided by the employer admit he is stuck out there for 3 weeks, and the 4th week is off, holidaying, taking a break he earns $12000 clear each month, for his effort
he is looking to buy a couple of houses, one in the west and one in Qld,,,as his options for continued work are in both locations he is not saving any money atm... he did pay cash for a new beaut ute and taken numerous overseas holidays in his breaks
he has no university studies, but is often offered bigger pay to move to different sites he is not worried about prices going down, he earns so much he just wants his own digs an amazing attitude, due to amazing money... he reckons this will go on for him forever he reckons he can get a new house and land package for $350k and promises to save some money, to have a saving history, intending to buy mid next year
I think at some stage in the future, this huge income will come crashing down....and then he will weep at the waste of so much money, for such little gain.... seems its all wasted on immediate entertainement only
