Really what have the other copper stocks as an alternative other than to be taken over. They can try to source finance or try capital raisings, neither easy in the current economic climate.

As you state , if these other companies have what CDU has , they should have no difficulty in going mining on their own. I can see a number of junior mining stocks fairing badly .
