    Lovesilver,

Well before we get to your question, I sold some silver at more than the absolute top price last year, it worked out at about US$53. To say I was ecstatic was an understatement.

The reason was, one of the bars had the number 888 on it, and Asians were all over themselves trying to buy it.

    In answer to your question:

There's no such thing as a free lunch, except one, diversification.

I know for sure many goldbugs here are grossly overexposed to PM's, behaviour that might come back to haunt them when gold doesn't go to $10,000, which it won't. Some think it will, Ophir thinks it's going to $25,000, there's a post above with $10,000 in it.

If this is the bear trap, as I think it is, gold could plummet to unimaginably low prices as it did in 1980 when it finally dawns on everyone that the economic EOD (end of days) isn't arriving.

But not to worry, if you're diversified, not overexposed, don't have too much debt, then you shouldn't be too concerned, no matter what Marc Faber, Jim Rogers, Malooney or anyone else says.

I've heard all that tripe about worldwide poverty and collapse for years. It's crap!
