One correction from the above article;
GRY does not have 4.5 million ounces at ~2 grams per tonne gold.
They have 3.6mil/oz at ~2g/t and 900k at .6g/t heap leach component.
Also key to remember that GRY;s resource if from a series of "disconnected" deposits that span over a radius of around 25km.
AMX's entire 3.1/oz resource is from a contiguous strike all within 5km.
Why is this important ? Because it shows that AMX's minerised trend has the ability to host large , possibly repeating deposits along its length of 150km+.
Like Gungadunnni posted, there is a good chance that AMX hasn't even uncovered the most minerised part of the sheer zone yet. A very good chance ,looking at the sampling results highlighted in the latest presso [1:25 minute mark in the fly through video] Not hard to see why some analysts are tipping upwards of 10mill/oz in Batie.
Have a look at the Ashanti gold belt in ghana. You'll see the propensity for repeating instances of large deposits once a major deposit has been discovered.
