Intuition........I once had a business,going back many,many years,and at first I took on all projects,battled on,made some money on some,and lost some money on others.Technically all projects at first seemed similiar,but after a few years, I learnt to weed out the problem projects from profitable ones....call it instinct....INTUITION...if you like,but it WORKED.The longer I stayed in my business,the more succesful I became,not because the projects changed,but because my INTUITION developed.I have only been trading 3 years,in what I understand are the worst markets in years and years,but I have stuck it out knowing that it will be like my business......the longer you stay at it the more instinct you develop.
PS...I sold out the moment I looked at the release.I 'just knew' the market was not going to like it....I knew it in a split second.......maybe I am developing that gut feel you are talking about pisces.
But to be honest,I didn't sell as quick as I should have as the announcement came right on 10:00,and I did not have a copy of my holdings in front of me so I had to waste seconds looking for how many I held to put the sell order in.....damn it.......good instincts,poor paperwork again.
