I was just looking at AGO's result and share price. It's been hit pretty hard, too. Yes, I know it is iron, however, it's been a deep cycle for resources, and whilst OZL's share price has fallen, it is not doing much worse than other resource companies. Meanwhile, OZL Directors buy, whereas AGO Directors sell. OZL gave back to shareholders in terms of a capital return, dividends and a share buyback. The once $1b war chest has lessened, but some of it was returned.

It's just a deep cycle. I reckon if Terry Burgess was to leave, it could smash the share price further. Look at what happened to GRR when their MD left (and a rock slide ANN the same day didn't help).

There has been a history of bad feeling towards OZL, so it has legacy issues. OZL is trading at a discount to NTA of close to 18%. Even though it's been a deep cycle, it is profitable, and has weathered the storm. Even though the share price is low now, it would ave to be one of the safer shares on the ASX, imo- unless copper prices just cave further and recession or a correction kicks in, but then nothing is safe.
