It is GCN's announcements that are fixated on time.
Promises made, without qualification, about the launch date of Flinders Station, and a promise (again without qualification) about the Jam Factory being launched by 3rd September. Where have we got to with the timing of the listing of P1 and First Mongolian?
Why doesn't GCN just do things without prior fanfare, but merely announce that things have been done? In that way we would be pleasantly surprised, not feel let down, and see a higher share price. Presumably it is not just "us guys" that put the GCN share price down on the announcement that free WiFi at Flinders Station had been turned on. The reaction of the market was a big ho hum. Imagine what might have happened if the first announcement was in the form of a pleasant surprise that this enterprise had been quietly achieved.
It is not "us guys" that live in the dream world of Alice in Wonderland.
You frequently lecture "us guys" on correct attitudes, so I am sure you will forgive me this little lecture.
