You are right they are a pretty small outfit.
And on top it is the fact that Mr. Foster and another senior executive are also running a hedge fund, "Cranport".
So although the main Foster Stockbroking website claims that Fosters does not offer shortselling, I am quite certain that the other half of the building is quite busy with all kinds of shorting and other hedging all day long.
