"can you admit you have been wrong so far and that you have fallen in love with the wrong stock"

    stefan,

I don't fall in love with any stocks - and certainly not SMA. I have been in and out of it a few times according to circumstances.

At the moment I feel very positive about the lottery opportunity. At the same time though, I don't discount the possibility of losing my investment. Which way it goes depends on just how quickly the Chinese gamblers take to mobile phone lottery purchases and the percentage cut to SMA. At the moment there appears to be quite a good uptake of mobile purchases. I wish we had more visibility into the SMA share of proceeds (other than 'significant royalty'), but assume there are confidentially and market intelligence reasons for this not being available. High risk high reward.

I am sometimes very unhappy about SMA. Most recently re the 0.7c cap raise just 2 weeks after the SPP. That pissed me off no end and I emailed Carr and told him in no uncertain terms.

However, I am not going to let those annoyances blind me to the more important market potential issues. When I see info of pertinence to market penetration, I sometimes post it. People can make of it what they wish. I don't upramp - and with this stock, anyway, at this stage in its history, such intentions would be futile.

I don't put a dyor rider at the bottom of my posts because such is condescending. 99% of people don't need a caveat emptor snd the others shouldn't be here.

What is laughable on these threads though is how many equate the SP with how the business is going. The SP goes down a couple of pips and suddenly all the usual suspects are all over it talking about management incompetence and veiled criminality and how the company has never done anything. Obviously, SP also has a lot to do with sentiment and perception (which with most stocks is often wrong), confidence, macro issues and manipulation - but none of these are ever acknowledged.

The fact of the matter is that the SP sometimes aligns with actuals and potentials and sometimes it does not. We have variously placed our bets and, as the cliche goes, the proof of the pudding will be in the eating.
