bball , I hope NCM turns north quickly too and my opinion as a long term play, newcrest certainly has merit particularly buying around these levels.

I used to be a buy and hold guy and that strategy worked well for me till a few years ago.

Now I am short term trading as I am finding it works better for me during these difficult market conditions.

Each to his own style.

FWIW long term I can see NCM visiting the forty level again
but short term I see it going lower if 24 fails to hold
but the landscape can change very quickly at the moment.
