It is not about whether 57c is reasonable or not. I watched the sp go from 8c to 60.

What I wanted to say was that 57c was a bluff and that there was never real intention from HL to honor the price. Why? Because they cannot afford it. The clause on CDB spelled it loud and clear. You don't invite takeover from a bidder that has neither money nor pedigree.

It's all about leverage at the negotiating table, and for now, SDL has little.
