Dont forget the great bulk of the drilling going forwared are the "buisness as usual" field development wells. The Edwards reef and the outer band exploration wells permitted so far are only 5000-6000 ft, not much to get excited about compared to shale oil well where the horizontal sections often dont even begin before 8-9000ft

In general you wont see wells drilled much cheeper than these guys on the ASX
