Looking for a new mobile phone on a plan a few months ago. Went to a Telstra shop. Ok, $x per month gives me $hundreds of calls per month and a new phone.
Me: How many minutes of calls is that per month?? Telstra: That depends on whether it's peak, off peak, roaming blah blah blah....... Me: Ok. How many minutes peak on Telstra per month.
Out came the calculator. Ten minutes later I've got 3 Telstra employees trying to work it out and each coming to a different answer.
I left them my phone number and asked them to call me when they figured it out. Still waiting.
These plans are designed to be so confusing that it is virtually impossible to compare one plan with another never mind one company with another.
