No That is not correct. Businesses pay company tax intheir own right They are not a consequence and an exclusive result of private Australian activity. Just ask BHP and RIO and ALL exporters. They pay tax as they sell product offshore.
THey are INDEPENDANT corporate taxpayers and their tax is combined WITH individuals. Individuals and business work together to genetate a tax pool. One is not exclusively conditional on the other.
