    Imports, inflation and manufacturing are tied together. Until prices rise enough the incentive to manufacture won't be there, and we will continue to import. How far prices will have to rise (in tandem with a falling dollar) before we can compete with England, where Sharwoods import mangoes and ginger, turn them into chutney and sell them back to us, I don't know. But I look forward one day to being able to buy kangaroo leather shoes made here rather than imported from India.
