Perhaps I should add that the extra treatment of these tails would be extremely important to those who are in charge of all Nuclear waste (US DOE) at the present time?
Whether the laser enrichment process could be of use in the treatment of some of the waste from nuclear reactors is as far as I know unproven, but wouldn't that make things interesting?
