Ht1, thanks for your posts. Very interesting re Tier 1 mines:

Amazing! I have to ask, though (perhaps naively) - how could a mine have a 100 year life? Wouldn't that be like digging through to China, or digging from South Australia to Sydney? :/ Given these minerals don't regenerate, but get depleted once dug up, I just don't get it!
