Don't confuse short term volatility with long term opportunities moondoong. Are you suggesting that Asia has finished developing? BHP, RIO and Vale don't think so as they are all planning increasing production.
This is not the first time that mining companies have pulled the pin only to reinsert it 6-12 months down the track. That's one of the main reasons you should not build your economy around the mining industry.
The slowing down of the mining boom can have positive effects for the rest of our economy as it will free up the scarce resources that the mining industry has crowded out.
